Rob Cosco

Rob, a northern Ontario native who relocated to Winnipeg twenty-five years ago, draws inspiration from a life deeply shaped by the outdoors. With experience as a log builder, eco-tourism guide, and social worker, he has carried those skills and values into his post-retirement venture: River Park Sharpening. There, his passion for knife sharpening and woodworking come together, with each piece embracing the raw, organic character of wood and allowing nature to guide its final form.

Local service

Rooted in the community, I offer hands-on sharpening services, commercial cutting board resurfacing and one-of-a-kind woodworking pieces made with care. From charcuterie boards to candle holders, each item is crafted from Manitoba hardwoods, along with repurposed or exotic woods when available.
